Older NT37 Raw Water Pump

At the 2022 Rendezvous, someone mentioned there is an afermarket raw water pump that can be removed without removing the port forward motor mount. On a 2001 NT37 the motor mount must be removed to remove the raw water pump. Who is the manufacturer of this aftermarket pump, what is the model number, and where in the PNW may one be obtained?

I was not at the Vous, so am not 100% positive about the pump, but the best raw water pump for the Cummins 6BTA (and the one I installled on Pilitak) is found at https://www.sbmar.com/product/smx-1730-seawater-pump/

I am not sure about being able to remove it without removing the engine mount, however, Tony (at the website sbmar.com under “Tony’s Tips”) has an article with instructions for altering this when the pump is out so the next time removing the mount is not necessary.

This is a Canadian supplier for this pump in Victoria. Hope this helps.
