Looks like it’s time to upgrade the upholstery on our boat.  Do you have a recommendation of a person or firm for this type of work?  Our boat is in the Everett Marina.

Feel free to send email if you prefer.

    Thanks for your help.

I would recommend Canvas Plus. They were recommend to us by the factory and did an outstanding job on our NT42

Hi Angelo, Denise Nichols here.  Just saw your post and wanted to share that we used Classic Upholstery in Lacy and were very happy with the work, timeline and price.  She worked at Nordic Tug for many years and may have done your original work.  She is very familiar with the boats.  Good luck with your project.

    Hi Angelo,

Like you, we are needing to update the upholstery on Truant, our 32′ Nordic Tug. It appears that the phone for Canvas Plus has been disconnected, and that they are no longer in business.  An email sent to Dave Allen at Nordic Tugs requesting help with upholsterers who are used to dealing with the NT has gone unanswered. Have you made any progress with a search for a vendor who can handle this?

    Hi Roger,

We decided to go with a new business at the Everett Marina.  I think she has been in business here for little less than a year with her own shop. She has some prior work doing this type of work. Photos of other jobs looked good.  And she seems honest (gut feel).

I’m guessing it will be 30 to 45 days before she will be done with our work.  Most of that is lead time on materials.

Will be happy to share after she has completed the work.

    Her contact info:

Denise suggested Custom Upholstery in Lacey.  Spoke to them and she offered a reasonalbe estimate. She was booked up for several months and we had to take stuff to her in Lacey.

    Cheers,
